On Friday November 6, 2015, our Training Center Administrator and AHA Professional Councilmember William Keenan travelled to Orlando, FL for the AHA’s 2015 Scientific Sessions. On Friday, the ECC Committee presented the new guidelines for CPR instruction. There are many new and exciting changes for both the Healthcare Provider levels and the Heartsaver (Lay-Provider) levels. These changes are in an effort to improve patient care and simplify the process.
The new courses will be rolled out over the next year, but instructors will start to introduce the new materials as they become available. As a Councilmember of 2 of the AHA’s Scientific Councils that work towards developing new ECC guidelines, William has been able to prepare Chesapeake AED Services to be able to train students in the newest updates to ECC before they become available to the general Instructor population.
Our instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced in their fields. We make classes enjoyable and help students to feel confident in their abilities. We look forward to seeing you in our classes soon.
