Program Management assits with implementing an AED program, maintaining your AED, and Post Event Services.There is an intial fee for the first year and renewal fee every year after. NEEDS ASSESSMENT
- Help strategically place units for optimal response
- Determine number of AED’s necessary to comply with American Heart Association Guidelines
- Identify your training needs
- Assist you in choosing the right model for your organization
DEVELOP A PLAN
- Identify and supply all equipment for AED implementation
- Assist you to identify a program coordinator for your site
- Set up maintenance and inspection plan
TRAIN YOUR STAFF PRIOR TO INSTALLATION OF DEVICES
- Coordinate Training with assistance from your staff
- On site CPR and AED training by field expert instructors (additional Cost)
- Familiarize students with companies AED location and use
SET UP OF AED UNIT
- Set up AED unit(s) according to manufacturer’s recommendations
- Install Battery and Electrodes
- Test operation of units
- Notify appropriate agencies regarding installation at your location
SERVICE AND MAINTENANCE
- Replace expired supplied (Battery and Electrodes)
- Replace post event supplies
EMERGENCY USE OF THE AED
- Ship customer loaner AED unit while post event services are being completed
- Inspect and replace used items (Pads/Batteries)
- Download AED information electronically
- Forward AED Post Event Data for Medical Evaluation
- Return unit back in full service
*Does not include Supply Replenishment on Child Electrodes. You can electe to have Child Electrodes cover for an additional $50.00 per year.
